Noise pollutants outside the home: Blowers and Mowers

Are blowers, mowers, weed-whackers and other house and yard equipment blowing out your ears?

I do a lot of yard work and its loud.

Summer isn’t quite over, we still have the heat, the events, the weather, and recreating to do!

Some of my friends like jet skiing, shooting guns at the range, loud concerts, motorcycles, and motorboats. Some of us take on Woodworking projects with saws, yard maintenance with weedwhackers and mowers. So what are the decibel levels of these types of equipment? Lawn mowers are over 90 dB and hearing protection is recommended over 85dB. Consider using PepPlugs for any outside projects, loud recreational vehicles and even travel and sports events. Please protect your hearing, no one else is going to do it for you!
